The price of Apple’s new headset is significantly higher than the virtual reality headsets currently on the market. Last week, the Meta company launched the Quest headset, priced at $449.

Apple has made its headset smaller and lighter by removing the internal battery. Instead, users will have to carry an external battery that connects to the headset via a wire.
